I gave you life, but cannot live it for you:
I can teach you things, but I cannot make
you learn.

I can buy you beautiful clothes, but I
cannot make you beautiful inside.

force you to show honor.
I can advise you about friends, but cannot
choose them for you.
I can advise you about sex, but I cannot
keep you pure.
I can tell you the facts of life, but I
can't build your reputation.
I can tell you about drink, but I can't
say "no" for you.
I can warn you about drugs, but I can't
prevent you from using them.
I can tell you about lofty goals, but I
can't achieve them for you.
I can teach you about kindness, but I
can't force you to be gracious.

ROSES OF LIFE

your w I've dreamed many dreams that never came true.
I've seen them vanish at dawn.
But I've realized enough of my dreams, Thank God,
To make me want to dream on.

I've prayed many prayers, when no answers came,
Though I waited patient and long,
But answers came to enough of my prayers
To make me keep praying on.

I've trusted many a friend that failed
And left me to weep alone,
But I've found enough of my friends true blue
To make me keep trusting on.

I've sown many seeds that fell by the way
For the birds to feed upon,
But I have held enough golden sheaves in my hands
To make me keep sowing on.

I've drained the cup of disappointment and pain
And gone many days without song,
But I've sipped enough nectar from the roses of life
To make me want to live on.

The Meaning Of The Rose

The Meaning Of The Rose

The rose is a symbole that conveys love, care, and memory.
A Rose is offten used when it id difficult to translate feelings into words.
The droplet on the bud could attest to feelings around a pregnancy loss. Just as no two Roses are the same, reactions to a pregnancy loss are personal and varied.

Dawn's cloudlets close,

Footprints

Footprints

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he notticed two sets of footprint in the sand: one belonging to him and the other to the Lord. when the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in is life. This realy bothered him and he questioned the lord about it. "Lord, you said that once i decide to fallow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But i noticed that during the most troublesome times of my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when i needed you the most you would leave me". The Lord replied, "My son, my precious child, i love you and i would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that i carried you".
